Welcome back, everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful summer break filled with fun and adventure. I am so excited to welcome you all to Year 3 and 4! We have a fantastic year of learning, growing and exploring planned together.

I'm also delighted to remind you of our wonderful team who will be supporting us throughout the year. Ms Cousins and Mrs Willett will be with us every day, ready to help and guide you. Their experience and enthusiasm will be a huge asset to our class.

Get ready for an action-packed year! Our PE days will be Thursdays and Fridays. Make sure you wear your PE kits on these days so you don't miss out on any of the fun activities and games!

What to Expect in Term 1

We'll be embarking on a journey through the Stone Age, into the Bronze Age and finally landing in the Iron Age. Our Stone Age Workshop Day being held at Hoath will now take place on Tuesday 6th October. In Maths, we will be developing our place value knowledge before beginning apply the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We'll be diving into fascinating Stone Age period through captivating stories, comparing Ug and Stone Age Boy. Our Science learning will begin with Electricity and the children will be having violin lessons on a Friday.

Our classroom will be a place where everyone feels safe, respected and encouraged to do their best. We will celebrate every success, big or small and learn from every challenge. Teamwork and kindness will be at the heart of everything we do. I can't wait to see what we will achieve together this year. Let's make it a year to remember!
